One can forgive the clerk at Whole Foods for categorizing the Massican Emilia Bianca 2020 as Italian. I mean, look at the label. It just looks Italian. The wine, however, is from Napa Valley, and, not coincidentally, includes, beside 45 percent sauvignon blanc, 25 percent pinot bianco, 15 percent ribolla gialla and 15 percent tocai friulano, not exactly…
