Last week I received an email notice of a new issue of Fred Minnick’s newsletter about brown spirits. Few people in America know more about whisky and whiskey than Fred does. (I call him Fred because we were on a trip to Bordeaux in 2011, so we’re on a first-name basis. I believe.) The subject line for the email was “Worst Whiskeys of the Year.”
