Tomorrow marks the Autumn Equinox for the Northern Hemisphere. While global warming/climate change has blurred the seasons and made what used to be distinct shifts in weather, atmosphere and mood essential to our sensibilities, still I view Fall as a time for retrospection as the multi-colored leaves drift from the trees, the days get shorter, and our tastes turn to hearty food and full-bodied red wines. All cannot be red, however, so for today’s Weekend Wine Notes, I offer three white wines to carry you from Summer to Fall and one rosé to drink even as the weather becomes cooler.
