It has been forever since I did a Weekend Wine Notes, so let’s get to it. To explain — this long on-going series offers brief reviews, torn, as it were, from the pages of my notebooks, unadorned. I generally include little or no technical, historical, geographical and personality-type information for the sake of brevity and immediacy. The point is a punchy, pungent review aimed to get your attention. As the subtitle to this post indicates, these are all red wines, presented in a wide diversity of styles and genres. The order is alphabetical. Enjoy! — In moderation, of course.
