Merry Edwards: Five Pinot Noirs from 2022

What’s particularly gratifying about the pinot noirs from Merry Edwards Winery and Vineyards is the remarkable consistency they display from vintage to vintage. Of course, each year, with its subtle or not-so-subtle effects, brings shades of meaning and nuance to the wines, yet winemaker Heidi von der Mehden produces these primarily single-vineyard pinot noirs as if they were cousins that shared DNA while striking out on individual paths.
