Jimi Brooks founded his eponymous winery in Oregon’s Willamette Valley in 1998. Tragically, unexpectedly, he died in 2004. The estate was inherited by his son Pascal Brooks, who was eight years old. Now, these years later, Pascal Brooks, still the owner, lives in France; managing director of Brooks Wines is his sister Janie Brooks Heuck. She carries on her father’s legacy of concern for the health of the vineyards and the natural life contained therein through the winery’s Demeter-certified biodynamic practices.
