A Solar-Powered Rosé for Earth Day

Domaine Carneros, the well-known producer of sparkling wines in California’s Carneros region, celebrates Earth Day by releasing the Domaine Carneros “Avant-Garde” Rosé of Pinot Noir 2023, the first wine from the winery made totally from its solar power grid. The winery’s microgrid and battery system supplies 75% of the power for the facility. In addition, the estate’s vineyards are certified sustainable, and the winery practices integrated pest management that employs natural controls for vineyard pests, as well as using lighter bottles to reduce shipping costs and carbon footprint.
