A New List of Wines with Charisma

Because it's fun ...and, yeah, self-indulgent.

A few days ago, you’ll recall, unless your short-term memory is on the fritz, I posted an essay from 2011 called “Wine and Charisma” that included a roster of 20 wines — actually 21, because I fudged at the last minute — that not only projected the essential but elusive glow of charisma but seemed life changing. Because that list concluded in 2010, I began to ponder: What wines have I encountered since 2010 that affected me in similar fashion? What wines knocked my socks off, blew me down, shook up my world, opened new vistas?
